inquiry into number1

Inquiry1: The most important factors of climate change

Population:
The population of the world is now is larger than ever. People's need for food, shelter and fuel creates demands on the earths and it's resources. The result, people have changed the natural environment of the world.

Natural cause:
If a volcanoe erupts it bursts out massive volumes of sulphur dioxide, dust, ash and water vapour to the Earth's atmosphere. Even though the volcanic eruption is still going on for a few days, the massive volumes of ashes and gasses can still affect the change of climate for many years.

Many tonnes of sulphur dioxide gas can reach higher than the Earths atmosphere (stratosphere) from a major eruption. The gasses and dust block the sun rays that are coming to Earth. This can cause the temperature of the world to cool down a bit.

How we all contribute to climate change everyday:
Everyday we humans contribute to this bit of the change in the climate.
-We use electricity all the time, and these electricity we use everyday is being generated by a power plant. This power plant are run on fossill fuel and are responsible for huge amount of green house gasses and other pollution.
-Cars, busses and other motored vehicles run on petrol or diesel both of these are fossil fuel.
-we use many papers for school work and at the office. we have used off more trees too.
-Timbers are used for building houses, which means that we ahve to cut down more trees

Hi Sam, You are off to a good start! Please remember to write your bibliography properly: author of site, (year), title, URL and date accessed by you. Then ,put it in alphabetical order. Can you add some pictures to your blog.

Your results for your 1st inquiry are: Understanding 3 (I think that you could have written more about climate change in Indonesia) and Bibliography 1, TOTAL 4/10
